Elands - Lake Mburo National Park

This is a 3 Days Uganda Safari which starts and ends in Kampala.

The safari will take you one of Uganda’s smallest national parks, well endowed with great tourism resources. Lying in the southern part of Uganda, the park covers about 260 Km of extensive acacia woodland, rainforests and undulating plains. The park adopts its name from the Lake Mburo found inside the park. Together with the other four lakes found within the park, a number of hippos, crocodiles, a variety of waterbirds, are attracted to the park. Fringing swamps on these lakes also hide secretive papyrus specialists such as the sitatunga antelope and red, black and yellow papyrus gonalek.
Lake Mburo national park is the best place in the country to see the gigantic eland antelopes, as well as zebras, topis, impalas, and several acacia-associated birds.
